There are definitely not enough authentic poodle skirts in the world today and Hey Viv! is doing everything in her power to change that. Vivian Vassar of Hey Viv! began her business by selling her vintage clothing finds to friends and family. Now, Hey Viv! makes her own retro style clothing, replicating vintage pieces she loves. Hey Viv! uses high quality fabrics for her stylish creations.

Hey Viv! clothing line sells new poodle skirts, crinolines, circle skirts, capri pants, poodle skirt tops, and a multitude of 50's accessories, including, but not limited to: poodle bobby socks, scarves, jewelry, and Cateye glasses. Almost all of the clothes are offered in child, teen, adult, and plus sizes. Hey Viv! provides extremely authentic 50's clothing which can be worn as a costume or just to be plain eccentric. I have been trying to figure out where I can wear my circle skirt, but haven't found an appropriate venue. The capris can definitely be worn out and about with out too many eyebrow raises.

I love the circle skirt and crinoline! I enjoyed wearing them and hopping around my room in the poodle bobby socks. I am trying to find skirts I have owned for a while I can wear the crinoline under; it is such a classic look! I love the capris as well. They remind me of the Pink Ladies from Grease. I am tempted to roll cigarettes up in my sleeves and walk around town feeling tough. All I need now is a Pink Ladies jacket...

The accessories were almost as much fun for me as the clothing! Cateye sunglasses and Cateye pink tinted lenses with 50's styles scarves=fun and totally awesome!
